Starting Tomorrow, No More Meatball Shop for the Lower East Side - Bowery Boogie

Time is short for the maiden Lower East Side location of the Meatball Shop. After tomorrow evening, the Stanton Street restaurant that started it all will shut down for good.

As previously reported, staff was told of the news last week. And the restaurant confirmed that regular service ends at 6:00pm tomorrow.

Apparently the lease on 84 Stanton Street is up and the company is “taking a different direction.”

Meanwhile, there is still no messaging from the Meatball Shop alerting customers to the closure.
